I had some time to kill before preschool pickup today so Espen and I hit a local Target. We picked up some broccoli and a red onion for dinner…and decided to stroll through the aisles of Target’s apparel section because….maybe they had something new since we were there 24 hours prior??? It always starts with finding one new item…and then noticing another item…and before I know it, I have a heap of clothing in my cart and I’m headed for the family sized fitting room.

Once I got into the fitting room, I hung up all of the items and noticed that I had selected very similar items. They were mostly cream, rusty orange, or blue/chambray – and a handful also had stripes. I had so.many.items and they all fit into that description. And it was completely unintentional. I can picture the buyers and designers at Target in their meetings talking about that color story for the Spring assortment…and apparently it spoke my love language and caused me to put all of the items in my cart! Nice work!

Also, Espen was crazy during this try on session – if you saw the videos you heard him screaming. He also threw about 25 cashews on the floor, drank my coffee, and blew a raspberry on my back while I was cleaning up said cashews. The joys of motherhood…
